I know its been a while, but I am still here – somebody tell life to slow down a bit?!?

After starting a new position at work and moving, I decided it was time for a long overdue stay-cation!  I plan on cooking and baking this weekend!

Right now I’m spending some time in the backyard enjoying the sun with some tasty treats to help me celebrate some days of rest.  Not having people over for dinner or baking for an event is no excuse not to have beautiful food for yourself.

I love treating myself.  I think everyone should make that a goal for their weekend…  🙂

I’m enjoying pluots, sourdough bread, brie cheese, and a tiny bit of babaganoush – I plan on eating a lot of veggies tonight to make up for this indulgence. 😉
